Friends of Chamber Music will close its season with the young and fabulously talented German violinist, Julia Fischer. Named Gramophone Artist of the Year in 2007, Fischer has been “wowing” audiences everywhere. At 24, Fischer has already been hailed as "one of the great violinists of the 21st century," and last year the BBC Music Magazine gave her the Best Newcomer award. She will be accompanied by award-winning, Ukrainian pianist Milana Chernyavska.
