Richard Goode
Tuesday, October 7, 2008
Opening the 2nd season of our Piano Series, we welcome back pianist Richard Goode. A native of New York City, Goode has been hailed for music-making of tremendous emotional power, depth and expressiveness, and has been acknowledged worldwide as one of today’s leading interpreters of the music of Beethoven. According to the New York Times, it is virtually impossible to walk away from one of Mr. Goode’s recitals without the sense of having gained some new insight, subtly or otherwise, into the works he played.
