Educational Outreach
Friends of Chamber Music is committed to educational outreach, engaging both local and visiting artists to provide residencies and master classes at elementary, junior high, senior high and college levels. Performances are presented primarily in Denver Public Schools, and thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, we are able to offer these performances free of charge.
During the 2007/08 season, 23 performances were presented in 17 schools, reaching over 4,600 students. Visiting artists participating this year included the Jupiter Quartet and Trio con Brio. Schools visited included:
